Please join the UDL-IRN for an illuminating evening of conversation with Jamie Basham. Dr. James Basham is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the UDL-IRN and an associate professor at the University of Kansas. His research is focused on learner-centered design, innovation, instruction, and technology in modern learning environments. During this interactive hour, you'll have an opportunity to ask Dr. Basham important questions about the issues facing educators in the 21st century, including the status of UDL across the world and at the IRN. We'll crowd source questions so that the best, most interesting questions rise to the top. You won't want to miss this exceptional opportunity!

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is the foundational education law in the United States. The law gives states more control over education and highlights the need for innovation. ESSA also mentions UDL multiple times as a core framework for guiding education and learning, including in supporting personalized learning.
